Cancellation Policy
This policy describes how RisePoint handles subscription cancellations and refunds for the Service.
13.1 Self-Serve Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page inside the product. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. You retain access to the Service until that date.
13.2 Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as expressly set out below or as required by applicable law.
13.3 Refund Exceptions
Service unavailability below SLA: service credits as described in the Service Level Agreement (Section 9), applied to the next invoice.
Material breach by us that we fail to cure within 30 days of written notice: prorated refund of prepaid fees for the remaining term.
Consumer law rights: where you qualify as a consumer in a jurisdiction with statutory withdrawal or refund rights, we will honor those rights.
All refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 business days of approval.
13.4 Annual Plans
Annual plans are non-refundable after the 14-day window described above, except where otherwise required by law. Cancellation and termination mechanics are described in Section 2.14. Unused months do not carry over after termination for cause by us.
13.5 Downgrades
If you downgrade to a lower-priced plan, the change takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate refunds for downgrades.
13.6 Taxes
All fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, including sales, use, value-added, goods and services (GST), harmonized sales (HST), and provincial sales taxes, except for taxes based on our net income. See also Section 2.3.
13.7 Disputes
Billing questions: support@stepupcareers.com. We aim to respond within one business day. Chargebacks should be raised with us before your card issuer so we can investigate.
